I, Pete Maldonado, was born in Pueblo Colorado on July 17th, 1983. My hometown is Trinidad Colorado where I grew up my whole childhood, I have two beautiful children, one sibling and my mother also lives in Trinidad. I graduated from Trinidad Highschool and moved forward to complete my AAS architectural engineering degree also completed my AAS civil engineering degree with community planning emphasis. After I completed my schooling, I worked for the city of Trinidad for 16 years. Working in different departments. I worked in the water department for ten years, during which I completed, certification in water distribution level 2. I also put my time in different utilities such as in gas, sewer, water filtration, road and bridge. My last five years on the city I worked as an engineering technician and completed multiple projects from designing, surveying, and supervising projects. During my time on Engineering, I specialized in American Disability Act (ADA) compliance. I have completed training through the University of Syracuse. One of my main goals is to help as many disabled people as possible I can, to get them out in the economy to be a normal person which will help boost our economy, the ADA compliant requirements I do for City of Trinidad Colorado makes it a better place and holds a special place in my heart. I have been working with Baca Construction as the project manager going on four years during which we completed many phases of ADA compliant requirements which require new sidewalks, new corners with ADA ramps. My work consists of a broad range of custom work of all concrete and professional concrete finishing foundations, walls, sidewalks, corners, and any specialized concrete forming. Utility infrastructure, pipe installation, and dirt excavation. My primary professional goal is to continuously develop my expertise in the construction field by acquiring new skills taking on challenging projects and establishing myself as a recognized leader within the industry.
